Relief

After a very hot June with triple-digit days/weeks and no rain..it finally rained. As we watched the downpour and listened to the thunder, I held Elsie up in front of our screen door to the balcony and had Melody take a picture. I chose to omit my hands holding her up and make it seem like she was floating, although now it kind of seems like she's holding onto the screen door and outside railing. As long as she's floating in my mind that's all I care. Kind of an ethereal feeling on this rainy day.
